Submission deadline: GAME CONNECTION EUROPE 2022

Submitted games must follow these 3 rules:

• Not attached or subsidiary of publisher/bigger company. However, the project may be backed by a publisher.
• Small team (less than 20 people).
• Small funding.

When submitting a project, developers agree with the following:

• Companies submitting their project must be looking for funding, publishing, distribution (worldwide, regional or domestic), investment or promotion for that specific project.
• The presence at the show in Paris to showcase the project is mandatory

Categories are:

You can nominate yourself for 1 of the following platform categories:

• Best console game
• Best PC game
• Best mobile / tablet game

You can nominate yourself for 1 of the following genre categories

• Best casual game
• Best hardcore game

Your game can also be nominated for the following categories (based on the votes of the jury on those specific criteria):

• Best visual art and design
• Best story / storytelling
• Best upcoming game

All nominated projects will be running for:

• Grand Award
• People’s Choice Award

Nomination Process

Submissions will be reviewed by experts from some of the most well known & recognized publishers, distributors, and media outlets in the world. The jury votes on the following criteria:

• Originality / game design
• Business model & viability of the project
• Gameplay
• Story & Story Telling
• Art / Graphism
• Personal Feeling

Nominees will be invited to attend Game Connection Europe 2022, set to take place in Paris on November 3-4. They will benefit from two complimentary business passes.
Nominees will be responsible for their own travel costs, meals, accommodation, and any other associated costs.
Winners will be announced at Game Connection during the Indie Development Awards ceremony.
