However\, the project may be backed by a publisher.Small team (less than 20 people).Small funding.\n\n\n\nWhen submitting a project\, developers agree with the following: \n\n\n\nCompanies submitting their project must be looking for funding\, publishing\, distribution (worldwide\, regional or domestic)\, investment or promotion for that specific project.The presence at the show in Paris to showcase the project is mandatory\n\n\n\nCategories are: \n\n\n\nYou can nominate yourself for 1 of the following platform categories: \n\n\n\nBest console gameBest PC gameBest mobile / tablet game\n\n\n\nYou can nominate yourself for 1 of the following genre categories \n\n\n\nBest casual gameBest hardcore game\n\n\n\nYour game can also be nominated for the following categories (based on the votes of the jury on those specific criteria): \n\n\n\nBest visual art and designBest story / storytellingBest upcoming game\n\n\n\nAll nominated projects will be running for: \n\n\n\nGrand AwardPeople’s Choice Award\n\n\n\nNomination Process \n\n\n\nSubmissions will be reviewed by experts from some of the most well known & recognized publishers\, distributors\, and media outlets in the world. The jury votes on the following criteria: \n\n\n\nOriginality / game designBusiness model & viability of the projectGameplayStory & Story TellingArt / GraphismPersonal Feeling\n\n\n\nNominees will be invited to attend Game Connection Europe 2022\, set to take place in Paris on November 3-4. They will benefit from two complimentary business passes.Nominees will be responsible for their own travel costs\, meals\, accommodation\, and any other associated costs.Winners will be announced at Game Connection during the Indie Development Awards ceremony.
